DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking motivated candidates that have a strong work ethic and desire to grow within the industry and with Genesis Farms. As a Patient Education Consultant, you will be at the heart of our mission to connect patients with the benefits of medical cannabis. We believe in empowering our patients with knowledge and guidance to make informed decisions about their health and wellness. You will own the consultative patient journey, guiding individuals to discover the right cannabis solutions for their desired quality of life.–No prior cannabis knowledge is required –Genesis Farms will provide comprehensive training on all products and procedures. You will be responsible for high levels of patient satisfaction by delivering excellent service and enhancing the patient experience in store through product knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicant must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Be able to pass a state required background check. Violent felony assault and any type of theft will automatically disqualify any candidates - per state law. Information on how to obtain a background check will be at the bottom of this listing.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Sales experience in a retail store environment preferred, but not required
• Customer service experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail
• Reliable, punctual, dependable, and trustworthy
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work days/nights/weekends/holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent, or GED
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach.

• Engage with prospective patients with empathy and understanding within the dispensary, guiding them through their medical cannabis journey and ensuring they feel supported in their decision-making process.
• This pivotal role combines compassionate, patient-centric consulting with efficient retail service. Candidates must possess a genuine desire to enhance patients’ lives, cultivating strong rapport and trust with every individual they assist during their visit to our facility
• Responsible for the proper and accurate use and training of the POS, cash handling, safe audits, and change drops
• Ensures high levels of patient satisfaction through excellent service and knowledge
• Greets and checks in patients in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Assists customers in store, on the phone and processing online orders
• Encourages sales through engagement of patients, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
• Ensures compliance with legal requirements and has a full understanding of the training and compliance binder
• Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
• Upholds the Company policies and procedures and MED compliance standards
• Upholds visual merchandising standards, checking that proper signage, price tickets, marketing materials, etc. are visible and updated
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, neat, and well-stocked store as well as ensuring general housekeeping duties are upheld
