Job Summary: We are looking for Retail Associates to stock, organize, inventory merchandise, handle returns and selling goods at the Oasis at Death Valley. This role attends to customers on the selling floor at all Retail Outlets as well as assisting retail leaders with golf events. The personality and professionalism of our retail team will instill confidence in our guests and will have a direct influence on the environment. Responsibilities Becomes fully qualified as register operator in regards to all retail transactions. Maintains an accurate bank. Assists all customers in a courteous and knowledgeable manner. Keeps designated work areas neat, clean, and properly stocked. Obtains as much product information as possible in order to enlighten customers on items sold at all Retail Outlets. Assist with golf events as assigned which includes; tee sheets, tee times, coordinating tournaments, cart maintenance/marshaling, and related aspects on the golf course. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong mathematical skills. Excellent customer service skills. Have a neat and clean appearance as reflected in Employee Handbook grooming standards. Must be available to work all shifts and weekends. Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Must possess or obtain a California Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of hire. On-site training is available. Must possess or obtain a TIPS certification for sellers of alcohol within 30 days of hire. On-site training is available. Physical Requirements include: Physically able to work standing for eight hours, and must have the endurance to function in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. up to shoulder height. Must be able to withstand working in extreme outdoor summer temperatures. Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, twist, reach, and grasp. Will be required to work in a refrigerated walk-in cooler with temperatures between 35-45 degrees.
