Description Job Description Job Title: Retail Associate Travel Requirements: 0 – 10% Status: Part Time, Non-Exempt Supervisor: Retail Manager Location: Chandler, AZ Direct Reports: None Job Summary: The Retail Associate supports day-to-day operations in the retail store, ensuring an organized, customer-friendly environment. This position is responsible for assisting customers, maintaining store cleanliness, supporting inventory management, and helping fulfill online orders as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service by assisting with product selection, answering questions, and resolving concerns. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for purchases, returns, and exchanges. Restock shelves, merchandise displays, and assist with product organization. Assist with inventory counts and receiving new product shipments. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store. Support the packing and processing of online orders. Follow all store policies and procedures, including safety and loss prevention protocols. Assist with store opening and closing procedures as assigned. Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Previous retail or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions. Interest or familiarity with soap making or DIY products is a plus. Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Bending, stooping, reaching. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

The Retail Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the point-of-sale system, and maintaining store cleanliness. They also assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and processing online orders.
