JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Seasonal Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team from August to November and have the oppourtinty to join us in the spring. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product demonstrations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will play a key role in driving sales through effective merchandising, upselling techniques, and maintaining an organized store environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively.

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions, handle cash, and manage returns.
• Provide product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays to promote products effectively.
• Stock shelves and ensure that inventory is organized and well-presented.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and improve customer service.
