POSITION OVERVIEW:

We’re hiring a Seasonal Store Attendant to join our team from late August through December. In this role, you’ll primarily work at our Admissions Desk, welcoming guests, ringing in admissions and merchandise, and selling tickets. You may also rotate through other booths at the Granary Road Farmers Market – scooping ice cream or helping out at our farm stand selling produce.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday are key days)
• Must have your own transportation – we are located outside of Calgary transit access
• Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
• Able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required

• Greet and assist customers at the admissions desk
• Ring in admissions, merchandise, and tickets using a POS system
• Provide excellent customer service and information about Granary Road attractions
• Work in seasonal booths such as:
• Ice Cream Stand – serving frozen treats with a smile
• Farm Stand Booth – selling fresh, local produce to our market guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in your workspace
• Assist with restocking and inventory as needed
• Follow all health, safety, and cash handling procedures
