REQUIREMENTS:

§ Meets the physical requirements of the job. Lifting 30-50lbs and standing for 8 hours.
§ Great attention to detail, organization and cleanliness.
§ Strong work ethic, cooperative team player and enjoys face-to-face customer service.
§ A strong desire to learn and develop as a Meat Industry Professional.
§ Excellent communication and hospitality skills.

Please understand that as a food retail business, our busiest times of the year are around the holidays, and therefore vacation time may be limited during these peak periods.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Providing support in ensuring display case is clean, organized and filled within appropriate business volumes and meets and/or exceeds Company standards.
§ Assist and guide customers to create a memorable experience.
§ Learning and understanding customers’ needs and concerns and guiding them to the right meat selection and cooking technique.
§ Ensuring all products in meat case meet and/or exceed Two Rivers standards.
§ Contributing to a safe, clean, and inclusive workplace.
TASKS:
§ General butchery duties (cutting, grinding, sausage production and filling custom orders – includes whole carcass breakdown of beef, pork & lamb).
§ Taking and filling meat orders, meat wrapping.
§ Routine cleaning of The Shop and equipment/machines.
§ Assist with running food and clearing tables when business demands it.
§ Operating cash register and POS system.
§ Guiding customers through our restaurant’s menu and helping them make a great food choices.
