We’re seeking a dynamic Retail Business Development Manager to join our B2B Retail team leading on selling in our accessible products and solutions into Local Authorities, Agencies and Healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the part of Enterprises Retail B2B team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new business and managing existing relationships with local authorities, charities, agencies and other organisations concerned with deploying accessible products to end-users, helping drive meaningful change for people with disabilities including those with sight-loss.
This role combines strategic prospecting, relationship building, and consultative selling skills.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

New Business Acquisition: Proactively identify and target potential clients aligned with RNIB’s target markets. Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organisations and developing outreach strategies to reach them
Account Planning and Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, outlining clear goals, strategies, and action items. Regularly reviewing and updating account plans based on performance data and client feedback.
Consultative Selling: Understand and articulate the unique value proposition of RNIB’s accessible product solutions. Tailor presentations and proposals to address specific client challenges and demonstrate ROI.
Lead Generation and Qualification: Generate a consistent pipeline of qualified leads through various channels, including marketing campaigns, referrals, and online resources. Nurture leads through the sales funnel, building relationships and providing relevant information.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Accurately forecast sales revenue and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Track and report sales activities and outcomes using CRM software.
