We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meat preparation and food safety, with a passion for high-quality meat production. As a Butcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our shop operates smoothly, providing fresh and expertly prepared products to meet our customers’ needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Retail Butcher
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Familiarity with various cutting techniques and meat preparation methods.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A passion for high-quality food production is essential.
• Working rota is Tuesday - Saturday

Experience:

• Butchery: 3 years (preferred)

• Prepare and cut various types of meat according to specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Maintain food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout the preparation process.
• Operate and maintain butchery equipment, ensuring all tools are clean and in good working order.
• Monitor inventory levels of meat products and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Provide guidance on proper cooking techniques and meat selection to our customers
• Keep the work area organised and clean, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
