RETAIL CANNABIS STORE MANAGER

URBN Leaf Cannabis Company is accepting applications for a dynamic, self-motivated, and organized manager with a passion for cannabis to join our growing team. This position requires a creative individual who is detail oriented and exhibits dedication to the success of their store.
The Retail Store Manager at URBN Leaf Cannabis is responsible for the daily operations and profitability of the establishment according to set goals and business objectives. This includes ensuring that all daily operating procedures are performed as required while promoting a company image of excellence through a strong work ethic, leadership by example, and the consistent delivery of impeccable customer service and store visual presentation. You’ll also maximize sales through the development and supervision of sales staff.
The successful candidate will be able to enhance the in-store customer experience, learn and teach about cannabis and lead a people-first team environment. The retail store manager will be responsible for bringing the URBN Leaf Cannabis Company brand and vision to their respective team and customers. Candidates must be flexible in their scheduling and be able to work a variety of shifts, including nights & weekends, and enjoy leading in a team environment.

Responsibilities

· Greeting and assisting customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct to other staff
· Establishing and supporting a customer service & knowledge-based store culture
· Managing, supervising, and directing the activities of all assigned staff and making recommendations regarding hiring, disciplining, terminating, and advancing employees
· Training, coaching and developing team members
· Driving business results by maximizing daily sales plans, managing expenses and improving metrics through sales floor leadership
· Implementing all operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to advance the company’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives
· Ensuring staff adhere to best practices
· Coordinating and facilitating all transactions and operations
· Reviewing employee performance regularly and maintaining employee records
· Ensuring ongoing staff education on recreational cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods
· Maintaining in-depth knowledge of all strains and products in store inventory as well as industrywide product and trend knowledge
· Maintaining adequate stock through efficient inventory management
· Performing inventory audits and reconciliations to prevent damage and loss
· Ensuring all expired/damaged/returned products are logged and handled according to regulations
· Managing merchandising and in store promotions
· Fulfilling staffing needs and coordinating employee scheduling
· Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
· Ensuring compliance with AGLC policies
· Ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all customers and employees
· Effective communication between other management and staff
· Ensuring merchandise is always presented neatly, effectively and is properly stocked
· Leading store opening and closing procedures
· Making sure all customer and employee complaints are addressed and handled professionally
· Making bank deposits as scheduled
· Contributing to and coordinating the process of ordering and receiving cannabis and accessory products
· Coordinating store maintenance as required
· Providing daily correspondences, via email or other means, with team members and other managers as required
· Ensuring compliance with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosures
· Must be willing to travel as needed to URBN Leaf stores in other communities
· All other duties as assigned
