As a Retail Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role. You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience. Tailwind encourages Veterans and Military family members to apply! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them with their purchases * Inspect Gift Shop and packaged food area to maintain store appearance, organization, etc. * Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register * Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions * Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate * Process returns and exchanges following company policies * Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits * Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures * Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications/Skills: * Proven experience in cash handling and customer service * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers * Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Proficiency with POS systems Requirements: * Must be able to pass background check to receive an airport badge * Must be able to lift 25-30lbs * Reliable transportation Benefits: * Paid training * Employee discount * Employee referral program * 401k with company matching * Health, Dental and Vision offered to Full-time employees Tailwind Concessions is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
