Job Details Job Location: EAGLE MOUNTAIN CASINO - PORTERVILLE, CA 93257 Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $17.16 - $19.74 Hourly Job Shift: Any Job Category: Retail TITLE: RETAIL CLERK REVISED: September 21, 2018 APPROVED: October 1, 2018; January 14, 2022 The Retail Clerk is responsible for the following duties: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Fill vending machines daily. 2. Perform all cash exchange functions during assigned shift. 3. Process orders and payments in a timely manner. 4. Ensure compliance with all internal control polices and procedures. 5. Provide excellent guest service. 6. Ability to perform Retail Cashiers duties when necessary 7. Prepare and maintain inventory records. 8. Keep track of all inventory, purchases made, and any damages of product. 9. Ensure cleanliness and order in the Gift Shop. 10. Ensure all vending machines are in full working order, including bill and coin acceptors 11. Responsible for ensuring that the proper change is dispensed. 12. Perform all inventories of the Gift Shop and Vending supplies as needed. 13. Must attend and be certified in all applicable trainings required by law. 14. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Must have excellent guest service skills. 3. Must have excellent math skills. 4. Previous work experience with working with the public. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Prior cash handling experience a plus. 7. Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft suite. 8. Familiar with office equipment including computer, copier, fax, 10-key, etc. 9. Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission. PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL: 1. While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, sit, and bend, push, pull, reach with hands and arms and lift 50 lbs. 2. Occasionally required to use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. 3. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations. 4. Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment. 5. Noise level is low moderate on the casino floor. 6. Exposed daily to flashing lights and ringing bells. 7. Must be able to perform the essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. REPORTS TO: Retail Supervisor SUPERVISES: None HOURS: The casino operates 24/7. Schedule, shift, and hours will vary.
