The Shop is open 7am - 8pm Monday to Friday and weekends 9am - 4pm (during term time).
The shifts for this role are typically weekdays, 2pm – 10pm or 12pm – 8pm. There will be occasional weekend work to help cover absences. Outside of university term times, shifts are likely to be 10am – 6pm. During holidays the shop is closed over weekends except for some open days.
This role is NOT suitable for current students due to the shift pattern; due to this we are unable to accommodate academic commitments.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will join the Retail Team at SUSU and help deliver our growing offer in The Shop (convenience store). https://www.susu.org/eat-drink-shop/the-shop/
You will play a part in driving the high standards expected in the store. This role will be ideal for someone who is passionate about customer service, and able to deliver it in a way that is appropriate to our audience.
The successful candidate should also be able to demonstrate that they can lead a team.
SUSU is a not-for-profit organisation and as such all revenue generated goes back into funding the activities of the Students’ Union.
