The Place for Talent About the opportunity: We’re seeking a Retail Commercial Manager to join our Retail team, based in Sydney. This centre-based role plays a critical part in building strong tenant partnerships and supporting the commercial performance of our shopping centre portfolio. Working closely with Centre Managers and reporting to the State Lead, you’ll partner with a broad stakeholder group while engaging daily with specialty retail tenants. This is a relationship-driven role, ideal for someone who balances commercial acumen with empathy, resilience and a customer-first mindset. What you’ll be doing Right from the start, you’ll do meaningful work that contributes to strong outcomes for our assets, tenants and communities. In this role, you’ll: Manage the collection of specialty rent across a portfolio of shopping centres Partner with tenants to resolve rent enquiries, disputes and payment arrangements Monitor tenant ledgers, including reconciliations, unallocated cash and prepayments Review and report on payment-on-time performance Recommend and implement payment plans and bad debt actions in line with policy Drive direct debit sign-ups and proactive debt management initiatives Act as the first point of contact for all rent-related enquiries Build positive, long-term tenant relationships and improve customer satisfaction (NPS) Support centre teams with budgets, reforecasting and income-generating initiatives Benefits that matter Our people share in our success.
