POSITION SUMMARY

As the Retail Creative Coordinator at Hollyburn’s Sports Boutique, you will be the visual and marketing creator behind our merchandise and brand storytelling. You’ll transform retail displays into vibrant expressions of the Club’s seasonal energy and curate campaigns that inspire Members to engage with our products. From executing engaging merchandising plans to collaborating on marketing content, you blend aesthetics with strategy to elevate the Hollyburn retail experience.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong merchandising background, preferably in both large and boutique-style environments.
  • Highly creative and solutions-oriented, with the ability to rework displays and product groupings as needed.
  • Experience using design and marketing tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or similar platforms.
  • Familiar with retail communication platforms and inventory/POS systems.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects with shifting timelines and priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Up to date on fashion trends, seasonal products, and member-centric retail strategies.
  • Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and promotional periods.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising & Retail Support

  • Design and maintain visually compelling floor sets and displays in both the main Boutique and Tennis Satellite Store, ensuring alignment with seasonal trends and sales priorities.
  • Adjust layouts creatively and efficiently in response to space limitations, stock changes, or shifting priorities.
  • Collaborate with fellow merchandisers to plan and execute large-scale visual projects, seasonal transitions, and event-related displays around the Club.
  • Partner with the Retail Administrative Coordinator on tennis shop merchandising, restocking, promotions, and events.
  • Assist Members during peak times and special events by offering knowledgeable, personalized service.
  • Work cross-departmentally to ensure all merchandising projects and activations are cohesive and well-executed.
  • Participate in quarterly inventories and support inventory control and back-of-house organization.

Marketing & Communication

  • Create and maintain an up-to-date Boutique Marketing Calendar, aligning visual priorities with promotions, events, and seasonal shifts.
  • Prepare and schedule weekly, monthly, and quarterly communications across all Club Member platforms, ensuring all store messaging is timely and on-brand.
  • Produce in-store signage and collaborate with the Marketing team on Club-wide initiatives to elevate Boutique visibility and engagement.
  • Coordinate with the Club’s Social Media team to promote new product launches, events, and sales in a visually compelling, brand-aligned manner.
  • Regularly meet with Boutique leadership to align on strategy, upcoming activations, and marketing deliverables.
  • Use Microsoft Teams or the SB Chat to keep staff updated on product launches, sales, and operational updates.
