As a Retail Credit Underwriter, you will analyze credit risk for equipment and revolving line of credit applications by reviewing credit bureaus as well as other financial data. You will be responsible to review applicant information for accuracy and identify and resolve any potential discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and decision-making skills and will need to be able to come up with creative solutions to mitigate risk to the company. Good communication skills are a must as you will be part of a call center.
Responsibilities:
- Verifying, analyzing, and processing retail credit applications in a timely manner, helping to grow retail acquisitions with minimal risk of loss and maximizing profit
- Reviewing and making decisions on credit transactions or submit recommendation to a higher approval authority
- Communicating with CNH Capital sales team, dealers, and end-user customers to effectively structure transactions to support equipment sales
- Having knowledge and ability to apply policy and procedure as required
- Identifying and supporting implementation of process and system improvements
- Timely completion of additional projects and tasks that you will be assigned to
- Positive attitude
- Problem solving skills and ability to propose and implement creative solutions
- Ability to make quick decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and good MS Excel skills
- Great ability to relate and communicate with multiple dealers and internal customers will be key to succeed in this role, both written and verbal
The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $78,000 annually (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
Qualifications:
- Availability to work 10am – 7pm EST shift
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years commercial credit underwriting experience or related areas in the credit cycle
