Here is more about us: https://www.cpap.com/pages/about-us Role Overview The Sales Agent plays a vital role in supporting customers in our retail store front on their journey to successful sleep therapy. This position is responsible for guiding customers through the selection and purchase of CPAP equipment, ensuring they receive the most appropriate solutions for their individual needs. By combining product expertise with a customer-first mindset, the Sales Agent delivers an exceptional experience focused on education, comfort, and long-term therapy success. The ideal candidate is empathetic, knowledgeable, and driven by a commitment to improving lives through better sleep. They act as a trusted advisor—answering questions, overcoming objections, and recommending tailored solutions that maximize compliance and satisfaction. Their goal is not just to close a sale, but to ensure each customer feels supported, confident, and equipped for a successful therapy journey. Requirements Duties Duties are assigned daily and include one or more of the following: Engage with customers across various channels to understand their sleep therapy needs and recommend appropriate CPAP equipment and accessories. Educate customers on product features and long-term benefits of therapy compliance. Guide customers through the purchasing process with empathy, clarity, and professionalism. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CPAP products, mask fittings, and industry best practices to provide accurate information and recommendations. Build trust and rapport with customers by actively listening and addressing concerns or barriers to therapy adoption. Follow up with potential leads and re-engage customers who have paused or abandoned the purchasing process. Ensure orders are processed accurately and in compliance with medical or regulatory guidelines. Achieve or exceed individual and team sales performance targets and KPIs. Document customer interactions and sales activities in CRM or ticketing systems for tracking and follow-up. Help in store and online customers "make it work" by troubleshooting clinical and technical customer questions, both before and after the sale All other duties as assigned. Skill Set Requirements Familiarity with retail sales principles, customer journey stages, and contact center best practices. Awareness of durable medical equipment (DME) regulations is a plus. Working knowledge of CRM and call center platforms (e.g., Shopify, Gorgias, Dialpad or equivalent systems). Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills. Strong sales and persuasion skills, including upselling and objection handling. Skilled in problem-solving and delivering customer-centric solutions. Proficient in data entry, order processing, and case documentation. Ability to multitask across systems and conversations in a high-volume environment. Ability to build rapport and trust with customers, especially those managing health concerns. Capable of adapting communication styles to meet diverse customer needs and learning preferences. Committed to continuous learning, performance improvement, and team collaboration. Comfortable working in a goal-driven, fast-paced sales environment. Able to retain and apply technical product knowledge quickly and accurately. Our Training Process Paid training is provided prior to new hires working one on one with customers. This training process is rigorous and involves learning a large amount of new information in a short amount of time. The team you are joining is made of those who have successfully completed the process. Training is a time to become familiar with Sleep Apnea and the products that treat it. Monthly performance reviews conducted. Yearly performance reviews are also conducted in which merit raises and bonus opportunities may be available. All benefits and benefit policies are subject to change. Location & Schedule This position is a 100% in-office position. Candidates must be able to commute to our local office (in zip code 77477). A company PC, monitors, keyboard and mouse are provided. Customer Service Representatives work a minimum of 40 hours for full time positions. The schedule for in-office is 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:30 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.
