Gilbert’s Fresh Market Hilton is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Deli and Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our deli department. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for retail and a proven ability to drive sales, manage staff, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Candidates must be available to work evenings and on weekends. Shifts will be from Tuesday to Saturday, 11:30am-7:30pm and hours may vary.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of deli and production operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of retail and production staff to achieve production targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure the departments are well-maintained, clean, and organized.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock effectively.
• Manage production of meals.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers.
• Implement company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field of Business, Finance and Management.
• Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Up to date Food Handling and Safety training.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• A passion for retail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
