QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE

  • Valid Class 3 driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract (completed annually)
  • Industrial Lift Truck (Forklift) Safety Certification
  • 2 or more years’ Class 3 driving experience
  • Basic MS Office skill levels
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Retail Delivery Driver is accountable for liaising between our customers and our internal teams to facilitate the accurate, timely and efficient delivery of packaged products. They are responsible to process shipped orders and complete trip sheets and logbooks in a timely manner meeting regulatory requirements.

PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Offer exceptional on-farm customer service
  • Ensure picked order reflects the sales order prior to departure from location
  • Follow route instructions to ensure packaged product orders are delivered accurately, efficiently and safely
  • Communicate closely with Sales Coordinator team to support customer service, route planning and delivery times
  • Conduct routine pre/post trip truck inspections and maintain accurate delivery records
  • Actively participate in a cross-functional team approach through open communication and effective transfer of knowledge and expertise
  • Assist with customer feedback to ensure timely closeout
  • Follow documented best practices and work instructions
  • Use collaborative methodology to anticipate, identify and resolve delivery-related process issues and inefficiencies and suggest improvements
  • Participate in team member onboarding and training for related systems and tools to ensure they are set up for success
  • Warehouse duties as required
  • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Attend site meetings as required
  • Other duties as required and assigned
