DESCRIPTION

The Retail & Distribution Account Manager will have responsibility for one of our two distributors along with key Retail accounts across the UAE. They will be responsible for managing the Apple business development and maximising sell-through achievement by ensuring that the highest possible revenue targets are achieved. The objective is to drive business growth of the Apple lines of business (iPhone, iPad, Mac, iPod and accessories) across the Retail channel by initiating, coordinating and implementing sales/ marketing programs together with the Retail Program function. Solid cross-functional collaboration is a must in order to drive alignment and impact across agreed business priorities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Executing the plan for the retail channel partners Responsible for delivering growth and revenue sell-through. Refine and execute a strategy for the accounts. Manage communications and expectations to senior account partners. Manage sell-in and contractual terms for accounts. Provide sales consulting on the integration and implantation of Apple products in customer environments. Responsible for building the right sales forecast and handling the product inventories with the partners. Responsible for the local account planning and forecasting. Analyse and report business results and trends on a weekly basis. Coordination with the central marketing team. Manage demand generation activities for accounts including: reporting, tracking and execution of programmes, LTSI deals and promotions; and delivery of ad hoc programmes using MDF. Defining fixtures and staffing in retail POS. Deal with internal processes, including budget requests and negotiation with Central. Work with the local training resources to ensure adequate product and programme knowledge within the account. KEY COMPETENCIES: Excellent social skills and the ability to build strong working relationships. The ability to influence by telling a compelling story. Determined, self-motivated and eager to take on new challenges.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Distributor management and Retail partnership management experience.
  • A proven track report in sales management.
  • Previous experience in a sales driven environment, meeting quarterly/yearly avenue and unit goals.
  • Experience of the retail market and FMCG, and a strong network of contacts within this field.
  • Previous experience influencing C-Level stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of solution based selling.
  • Has proven ability to deliver time sensitive projects.
  • Has demonstrated ability to actively diagnose and develop remedies or plans for solutions and opportunities.
  • Fluency in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.Arabic is preferred
