Based in Singapore, as part of Apple IS&T’s Retail Engineering Operations & Support team (REOS), you'll play a vital role in driving what matters most: the world’s best retail experience with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region. DESCRIPTION This role, the Retail Engineering Field Manager is a key position in providing technology leadership and support to Apple Retail markets. In this role, in addition to your own market, you will drive vision and execute strategy while ensuring consistency and partnering globally with your peers. As this leader you will also: • Lead the APAC Field team and be the technology point-of-contact for Store Leadership and store teams. • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, business partners, and external partners to manage expectations, and ensure seamless execution. • Drive store engagement across your regions and ensure teams are both being effective and sharing key info to stakeholders. • Manage teams budgets in line with the needs of the business and ensure your teams are spending enough time engaging with their partners. • Provide strong leadership regarding escalations/trends/emerging issues in real-time in partnership with the IS&T HelpLine and support teams. • Support Apple Store locations by conducting in-person visits, and supplementing with virtual visits as needed, to ensure the health of the technology in those stores. • Participate in recurring market meetings and calls to represent IS&T, address questions, and evangelise new technology. • Educate and inform around key IS&T initiatives with retail store technology stakeholders. • Help open, remodel, and close Apple Store locations as needed in partnership with the IS&T New Store Opening (NSO) Expansion team. • Be a key partner for the IS&T Retail Store App teams and the tools they create for Retail. • Ensure support and execute key app validation testing and pilots in Apple Store locations remotely or onsite. • Some travel, including international will be required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years leading a team or leading collaborative teams across different geographical locations General technical understanding of Retail Stores, troubleshooting, networks, applications, POS & product launches. Extremely strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, business management) is desired, but not required with an equivalent experience. An understanding of where technology intersects with Apple’s Retail strategy (for stores and online). An ability to communicate within all levels of the Retail and IS&T organisations. A highly collaborative working style suited for a large global team. Superior time management and multitasking skills. An ability to seamlessly shift between conversations with technical leaders, business leaders, and Apple Store teams.
