JOB OVERVIEW

The Retail Officer will play a key role in ensuring every visitor receives a warm welcome and excellent customer service. They will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the site, including managing the retail shop, developing the retail offer, and working closely with colleagues to deliver a first-class visitor journey.

VISITOR EXPERIENCE & OPERATIONS

• Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the public offer during open days (Wednesday–Saturday).
• Act as Duty Manager, overseeing visitor services, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service, handling visitor queries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.

OTHER DUTIES

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the visitor offer.
• Support the seasonal activities as required.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties.
