POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Retail Floor Manager & Sales Associate who is equally comfortable leading a team and delivering one-on-one service to customers shopping for their next ski or snowboard setup. In this hybrid role, you will help manage the retail floor while also taking an active part in day-to-day sales, training, merchandising, and customer engagement.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has leadership experience, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and brings a genuine passion for skiing or snowboarding. You’ll work closely with the buying team and ownership to support floor operations, drive sales, and foster a team-focused culture.

We’re looking for a Retail Floor Manager & Sales Associate who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, is eager to share their product knowledge, and can confidently lead a team. Whether you’re helping a beginner find their first snowboard setup or coaching your teammates on new gear arrivals, this role blends hands-on retail with leadership responsibility.
You’ll be an integral part of the customer journey—connecting skiers and riders with the right equipment, delivering excellent service, and creating a welcoming, high-energy space on the sales floor. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Experience & Sales:
  • Deliver expert customer service and personalized gear recommendations
  • Guide customers through product selection based on skill level, fit, terrain, and goals
  • Stay current on industry trends, product specs, and gear technology
  • Promote add-on sales and services such as tuning, boot fitting, and accessories

Leadership & Floor Management:

  • Lead by example in setting a professional tone and maintaining store readiness
  • Assist in staff scheduling and floor coverage to meet peak demand periods
  • Motivate and coach sales staff to achieve team and individual sales goals
  • Support onboarding and training of seasonal associates
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Assist with merchandising, visual presentation, restocking, and pricing
  • Manage POS tasks including returns, special orders, and phone sales
  • Collaborate with boot fitting and tuning departments to ensure seamless customer service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and backroom
