Description The Retail Golf Shop Clerk serves as a primary point of contact for members and guests, delivering a warm, professional, and personalized experience at the club. This role is responsible for checking in members, supporting daily operations, and ensuring exceptional hospitality throughout the clubhouse. Key Responsibilities Pro Shop & Golf Operations · Greet and check in members and guests for tee times in a professional and welcoming manner · Verify tee times, process daily play, and assist with member account transactions · Provide information regarding club events, policies, and golf operations · Assist with merchandise sales, including ringing transactions and maintaining organized displays · Support pace of play and communicate relevant course updates to members · Coordinate with golf staff to ensure smooth daily operations Member Assistance & Club Services · Respond promptly to member questions and service requests · Assist members with locker access, guest registration, and general clubhouse navigation · Provide support for tournaments, leagues, and special club events · Maintain a strong knowledge of club offerings, amenities, and programming · Ensure member concerns are addressed quickly and professionally Qualifications · Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Professional appearance and demeanor · Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment · POS and computer proficiency · Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed · TIPS Certification a plus Core Competencies · Member-first mindset · Attention to detail · Team-oriented attitude · Problem-solving ability · Positive and energetic approach · Cash handling and reconciliation Requirements · Ability to stand for extended periods · Ability to lift up to 30 pounds · Valid Driver's License · Must meet minimum age requirement of 18 years old in accordance with state liquor laws to serve alcohol
