About the Role As General Manager, SME & Commercial Growth, you’ll drive the growth and retention of our SME and Commercial business segments, delivering better outcomes for clients and the business. You’ll be accountable for strategic growth planning, identifying new market opportunities, leading business development, and ensuring ambitious growth and retention targets are met. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and a proven ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment. Some of your responsibilities will include: Developing and executing strategies to grow new business and retain existing clients within SME and Commercial segments Leading a team of Business Development Managers and Retention Managers to deliver strong client and business outcomes Conducting in-depth market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives Actively engaging existing and potential clients to support their business and demonstrate how Aon can support their goals Skills and experience that will lead to success: You’ll thrive in this role if you have a proven track record in growth, strategy, or commercial management—ideally within the SME or commercial business insurance environment.
