JOB DESCRIPTION

Chemist Warehouse Northwood is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Full-Time Retail Manager! The primary role of the Retail Manager is to lead and manage employees, working alongside the Managing Pharmacist.

SKILLS

Proven successful retail management experience (within fast paced & high volumes industries)
Strong stable people management experience (ideally managing 15-25staff)
Effective and positively impactful leadership, mentorship, and management skills
Efficient problem-solving skills with a questioning and continuous improvement mindset
Proficiency in using computer systems and tech savvy
Exceptional customer service, negotiation, and influential skills
Strong communication skills and able to relate, partner & advise at all various stakeholder levels
Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit

Responsibilities

Managing the day-to-day retail operations of the store
Supervising and coordinating retail pharmacy staff and staffing activities
Building and maintaining customer rapport and loyalty
Improving the efficiency of store processes and procedures
Addressing customer complaints as required
Resolving staffing issues and stock discrepancies
Ensuring organisational policies and procedures are followed and enforced
Maintaining workplace Occupational Health and Safety
