Position: Restaurant Manager

HOURLY RATE: $29.00- 33.00 P/H

Region: Wellington
The ideal candidate will possess experience in both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations, along with proven management capabilities. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day running of the restaurant, including placing stock orders, conducting stocktakes, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, scheduling staff, managing workflow, and delegating tasks. You will also be required to open and close the premises as needed and step into various roles to support team coverage—therefore, comprehensive experience across all restaurant functions is essential.
Job Tasks:
· Lead with clear communication and responsibilities, ensuring smooth service flow. team performance, gather feedback, and ensure high standards are met each shift.
· Manages and supervises staff, including hiring, training and performance evaluation
· Manage day-to-day operations of the stores
· Manages budgets and financial transactions, including cash handling and reporting
· Foster a positive atmosphere by motivating and supporting your team
· Identify growth opportunities for the business and individual team members
· Positive, flexible, confident, high achiever
· Reliable & great personal presentation
What we are seeking:
· Prior Hospitality Management experience
· Able to work on weekends and evenings
· Comfortable and confident working on the grill during busy periods
· Great leadership and communication skills
· Reliable, organised, and hands-on with daily store operations
Experience: Prior 2 years management experience and relevant education
