About the role

IGA Bilgola Plateau is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our supermarket business. This is a full-time position responsible for ensuring efficient store performance, strong financial outcomes, and high standards of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily store operations, including staff supervision and workflow coordination
• Plan and organise store operations to meet sales targets and business objectives
• Monitor financial performance, including sales, margins, wages, and expenses
• Control inventory levels, stock ordering, and stock presentation to maximise sales
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and company policies
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including rostering and performance management
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer enquiries and complaints
• Implement promotional and merchandising strategies to drive sales
• Liaise with suppliers and ensure efficient procurement and stock replenishment

About you

• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a retail management or supervisory role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proven ability to manage store performance and achieve financial targets
• Experience in stock control, merchandising, and supplier coordination
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in supermarket or grocery retail highly regarded
