PATHIVARA ENTERPRISE PTY LTD is a grocery store seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager (General) to join our business in Nowra, NSW.

About the Position

The Retail Manager (General) will be responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of the retail business. The successful candidate will oversee staff, stock management, purchasing, customer service, sales activities and general store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine product range, stock levels and customer service standards.
• Develop and implement purchasing and marketing policies and set product prices.
• Promote and advertise the store's products and services.
• Sell goods to customers and provide advice on product use when required.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales and financial transactions.
• Prepare and manage the store's budget and monitor operating expenses.
• Recruit, train, supervise and manage retail staff.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and relevant regulations.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in retail management or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing retail operations and staff.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in stock management, purchasing and supplier coordination.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant qualification in Retail Management, Business Management or a related field will be highly regarded.

Salary & Benefits

$80,000 per annum + superannuation

Full-time employment based in Nowra, NSW 2541.
