Description

As we continue our mission to make people happy through chocolate, we’re looking for a Retail Marketing Campaign Manager to join our Marketing team on a full-time basis.
We’re looking for an experienced Retail Marketing Campaign Manager to oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of all campaigns in our physical store formats. This includes managing executions across POS, pavement shouters, windows, and local marketing assets. You will collaborate with our internal design team and agency partners to merge world-class creative with performance-driven strategies. From Valentine’s gifting to exciting new product launches, you’ll be instrumental in bringing the brand to life through seasonal campaigns.

Here at Hotel Chocolat, we’ve adopted hybrid working. This means you’ll join us on-site for three days a week, and for the other two days – you can work from wherever you like!

What you’ll be doing….

  • Act as the retail campaign owner to ensure effective execution and gather insights from the Visual Merchandising (VM) and Campaign Team.
  • Brief and deliver creative campaigns, managing them from concept through to delivery while ensuring stakeholder needs are met.
  • Work closely with Retail & VM teams to incorporate key requirements and learnings.
  • Review and provide feedback on creative assets to ensure they align with retail execution needs.
  • Serve as the key contact for agency partners, ensuring smooth execution and finalization of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to develop engaging digital screen content for in-store displays.
  • Own and manage the retail critical path, ensuring alignment and engagement across all stakeholders.
  • Support store-based retail colleagues with ad-hoc marketing requests.
  • Stay informed on retail marketing best practices and use insights to drive innovation.
  • Work with the Internal Communications Team to ensure clear and efficient communication of retail marketing strategies.
  • Capture and apply learnings from each campaign execution to optimize future retail marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and develop the Retail Marketing Assistant, supporting their growth and development.

Who you are…

Essential

  • 2+ years of experience managing marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Retail marketing experience, including point-of-sale (POS) activations.
  • Strong experience in writing creative briefs.
  • Excellent creative judgment with proven experience working with in-house or agency creative teams.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Highly organized, meticulous, and results-driven.

Desirable

  • Experience in window marketing.
  • BA Hons degree or CIM qualification in Marketing.
