Description
Shared, collaborative responsibility for M&S's national incentive strategy. Works with the coordinated M&S Team (GSO and field) to develop quarterly go-to-market strategy including retail/lease incentives and payments, vehicle line showroom relationship, conquest/owner retention initiatives, lease termination management, and new vehicle launch incentives to drive attainment of Market Area/National sales and share targets. Position supports the deployment of ~$10B in national variable marketing and $400M in regional menu pick spending while maintaining a simplified C&I go-to-market tactics Key Objectives tied to achievement of the following targets: National retail sales targets, market share objectives, net revenue, net pricing per unit, VM % of net revenue, leasing objectives, Ford Credit market share, new product launch success, and vehicle line contribution margins. Develop and implement new tools to monitor competitive VM spends, speed-to-market and lease/retail payment comparisons to Ford facing vehicle line. Focused on developing targeted go-to-market strategies to drive sales, share and conquest opportunities, as well as the ability to drive profitable demand through ongoing and relentless VM efficiencies, Inventory Reframing collaboration, regionality support, and Yield Management Test and Learns. Participate in the transformation of our VM approach to business from how we deliver more targeted offers to reimagining the approach to Sales Events. Strengthen our winning team and “One Team” culture through routine team checkpoints, promote Work Life balance, team member "in spotlight" sessions and celebrating our wins. Established and active employee resource groups Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Extensive US Marketing & Sales field experience, including dealer sales, merchandising and promotional planning, dealer relations, dealer vehicle wholesale and Ford Credit interaction. Although job is viewed as a developmental position for outbound Regional Managers, will also consider current Regional Managers needing GSO/C&I experience. Will also consider candidates in need of a developmental position who are on the path towards General Management in Marketing. Prior General Office, and specifically Retail Marketing/C&I experience, as a LL6/LL5 is preferred and ideal background. Experience as Sales Zone Manager, Sales Operations Manager and/or Marketing Manager are preferred job experience/background.
