Are you passionate about marketing and ready to make an impact in a fast-paced retail environment? We’re looking for a Retail Media Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team and help drive incremental growth for Kmart Retail Media and Kmart Licence brands.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As the Retail Media Marketing Assistant, you will:

  • Execute and coordinate marketing activities across digital, retail, and other channels, with a strong focus on retail media platforms.
  • Support the Senior Retail Media Specialist in delivering supplier marketing plans that increase sales, transactions, and category participation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, studio, media, merchandise) and external suppliers to ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals.
  • Track campaign performance, analyse data, and provide actionable insights to improve future strategies.
  • Manage campaign briefs, imagery, and supplier communications using tools like Monday.com and Dropbox.
  • Assist in unlocking increased revenue opportunities through emerging partnerships with Kmart 1:1, loyalty teams, and Beauty & Apparel suppliers.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Analyse campaign data and supplier feedback to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align marketing efforts with commercial goals.
  • Support budget accountability by tracking supplier funding and campaign ROI.
  • Suggest process improvements and contribute to team success.
  • Ability to manage multiple streams of work at a fast pace.
  • Build and deliver new ideas to secure incremental Retail Media budget year-over-year.
  • Accountable for maintaining a safe work environment and reporting incidents or hazards.
