About Us We are an established Canadian facility, maintenance company. We provide a variety of services to large retail and commercial businesses nationally. About this Position This role is responsible for leading, managing, coordinating and implementing the customer scope of work within a designated area, to provide exceptional Janitorial Services. You will also be responsible for increasing revenue from existing customers and managing a mobile workforce. Duties and Responsibilities Participate in the development and implementation plans for customer (i.e. waxing schedules/, budgets, potential add on sales opportunities) Build strong relationships with customers and sub contractors Responsible for training subcontractors and employees on required legislated training (WHMIS, Health & Safety, etc.) and United cleaning specific training Lead all process initiatives and work with senior management to identify trends and process gaps. Analyze and control store budgets, monitor expenses for operations and develop strategies to decrease costs and increase profitability at store level Implement transitions of new business in customer locations in compliance with transition process Support in Hiring/Recruitment/Training/Performance Management/Termination of subcontractors Work in compliance with Health & Safety policies and legislation Job Requirements Available to address customer and subcontractor needs and concerns in a timely manner Ability to work flexible shifts on a rotation basis including evenings and nights Willing to travel frequently within the designated territory Ability to work in a fast-paced & high stress environment and solve problems effectively Valid driver’s licence and good driving record Skills- Qualifications Business acumen, strong verbal and written communication skills Active listening skills, time management, leadership skills, autonomy, competent with technology Managing budgeting & costing within janitorial operational environments Knowledge of floor-care and cleaning procedures is an asset Ability to motivate a mobile team of sub-contractors Education/Experience Degree in business administration or related field Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Janitorial industry or any other dynamic operational environment 3 – 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role
