OVERVIEW

The National Retail Organization (NRO) is seeking a Retail Operations Analyst (ROA) to provide selling and analytics support against key Walmart NRO initiatives, including retail operations & in-store execution.
The ROA role delivers a competitive advantage for General Mills (GMI) through strong partnerships with the NRO field and Walmart customer sales teams to provide analytics, reporting, and streamlined processes that support the advancement of General Mills’ selling and retail execution strategies.
In this role you will be responsible for driving retail sales and top tier execution at Walmart. We are looking for candidates with strong problem solving & analytical skills. You will be responsible for pulling data and providing actionable insights and recommendations. You will need strong communication skills as you will be working directly with the Walmart Customer team and all levels of the NRO Sales Team.
This role provides the opportunity to work on our largest customer and make a meaningful impact on the business. The ROA role provides opportunities to enhance the candidate’s analytics skills and develop sales programs and strategies at the Store, Market, and Regional levels. You will also continue to strengthen your communication skills not only with a large NRO audience, but across multiple levels of the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrates Excel skills
  • PowerPoint skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be based in Northwest Arkansas or willing to relocate

  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Microstrategy Skills
  • Previous analyst/sales analytics experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to learn additional General Mills systems
