OVERVIEW: ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Drives sales through community involvement by attending local market races as a representative of Dick's Sporting Goods to promote the Company as a destination shop for running enthusiasts. Provides technical support based on in-depth product knowledge to other associates and customers on all footwear merchandise with a focus on merchandise geared towards runners. Supports Company standards of selling and customer service by providing a friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every customer and maintaining solid product knowledge. Maintains merchandise presentation standards and signage of Footwear Department to Company standards as directed. Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all Company information. Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customer) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect. Responsibilities

This role drives sales by representing the company at local running events and providing expert technical support and product knowledge, especially regarding running footwear, to both customers and associates. Responsibilities also include maintaining department presentation standards and adhering to all company policies regarding safety and loss prevention.
