Description The Retail Sales & Product Trainer plays a key role in driving sales performance and delivering exceptional guest experiences through engaging, hands-on training. This individual is responsible for developing, facilitating, and reinforcing sales and product knowledge programs across the retail chain—ensuring our teams are confident, informed, and aligned with the company’s mission and brand values. Essential Functions Develop and Deliver Training Conduct new hire training sessions focused on sales skills, product education, and customer experience. Facilitate ongoing training workshops (in-person and virtually) for existing team members and leaders. Sales Coaching Partner with Store Managers to identify training opportunities and performance gaps. Observe on-the-floor interactions and provide real-time feedback and coaching to improve conversion, UPT, AUR, and AOV. Product Knowledge Expertise Maintain a deep understanding of all product categories-intimates, apparel, pleasure products, and accessories. Collaborate with product, planning, and marketing teams to ensure timely communication of new product launches and features. Create and distribute product reference guides, tip sheets, and visual training materials. Training Program Development Assist in designing training modules, videos, and e-learning content to standardize retail education across all locations. Help evolve the company’s retail training framework to support career growth and advancement. Field Presence & Reporting Conduct regular store visits to assess performance and training execution. Travel extensively within the retail chain to build relationships, gain firsthand business insights, and drive accountability. Provide weekly feedback and store needs to management team. Requirements 2+ years of experience in retail training, retail management, or a related sales leadership focused role. Proven success in retail sales, coaching, or team development within a specialty or lifestyle brand environment. Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Ability to travel to store locations as needed. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Passionate about people’s development, sales excellence, and empowering others to succeed. 60% travel required; mileage reimbursement provided. Availability The Retail Sales and Product Trainer must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed. The blackout period for any vacations is December, January, February, and any special sales months to be selected.
