Ashford Collection is a homeware, lighting and giftware retailer. We have 2 stores between Galway and Athlone. We also have our online store. We are passionate about homeware and gifts and value our reputation in providing excellent products at affordable prices.
We are currently hiring 1 Full Time Retail Sales Assistants for our store in Athlone. We have a wide range of giftware and homeware for sale and on display, from furniture, lighting, glassware, wall art and mirrors.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to meet the needs of all our customers
  • Ability to close sales
  • Good communication skills
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Commercial mind-set and appropriate product knowledge

  • Merchandising skills

  • Previous retail experience

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and operational standards to maximise sales and profitability whilst maintaining our costs

  • Be constantly on the lookout for innovative ideas inside & outside the business
