RETAIL SALES ASSISTANT | NEW STORE OPENING!!!

Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing excellent customer service, assisting shoppers, and contributing to the overall success of our retail operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and interact with customers.
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, and eager to assist customers and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills for processing transactions and providing accurate change.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Training will commence at Macquarie Park, and then back to store mid - Sept !
Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products based on their needs and preferences.
  • Provide product information, features, and benefits to customers, helping them make informed purchase decisions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including merchandise displays and shelves.
  • Handle cash transactions, operate the cash register accurately, and process payments following established procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and replenishing merchandise.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Offer assistance in handling customer inquiries, concerns, and returns in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Monitor and manage the fitting rooms to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to customers, maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and new arrivals to provide up-to-date information to customers.
  • Participate in store meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
