The Role:
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable Retail Assistant to join our team! As a Retail Assistant at The Crystal Society, you’ll help customers discover the perfect crystals, minerals, and accessories to suit their needs. You’ll be the face of the store, offering advice, answering questions, and providing exceptional customer service in a fun and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that align with their interests or needs.
Offer in-depth knowledge of the crystals and minerals we stock, including their metaphysical properties, origins, and uses.
Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Process sales transactions and handle cash register duties.
Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor.
Restock shelves, price items, and help with product displays.
Assist with inventory management and stock checks.
Create a welcoming atmosphere that aligns with our brand values.
Skills & Experience:
Previous retail experience preferred, particularly in a customer-facing role.
A passion for crystals, minerals, and metaphysical practices is a huge plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of cash handling and POS systems.
A friendly, approachable personality with a genuine desire to help others.
