OVERVIEW

Are you looking to be part of a small Team? We are seeking a motivated and dynamic sales person/admin to join us. Selling our products from, sheds, furniture and timber with possibility of installing sheds and deliveries. Helping to load customers is required. This is not just an office based job, you will be outside in our yard as well, so not stuck at a desk all day. Building strong relationships with our customers. This role requires excellent communication skills. The Sales Assistant will play a crucial role in promoting our products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction. Full Training will be given.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential, as full training will be given.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in English is required
  • A passion for sales and a desire to help customers find the right products for their needs.

Responsibilities

DUTIES

Promoting and selling various products on site.
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales growth.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
Working week is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8am - 5pm, Saturday 9am - 4pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
  • Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone.
  • Utilise effective communication skills to explain product features and benefits clearly.
  • Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer’s shopping experience and increase sales.
  • Maintain an organised and tidy sales floor, ensuring that products are well-displayed and stocked.
  • Process transactions accurately using basic maths skills for cash handling and till operations.
  • Manage time efficiently to ensure all tasks are completed within the working hours.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
