FULL TIME RETAIL SHOP ASSISTANT.

We are looking for confident candidates with experience working in retail to join our sales team. The position available is within 1 of our 3 retails sites in Stockton & Thornaby.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
Serving customer and helping them find the clothing they require.
Restocking the shop and keeping it clean and tidy.
Picking clothing to satisfy orders
Carry out stock takes
Attend school selling events in summer months

SKILLS REQUIRED

No experience is required however if candidates have worked in retail and clothing it would be more desirable. Candidates need to be flexible as there are additional ad hoc duties when the shop is quiet. The successful candidate will work at either Motif8 Embroidery, Rawcliffes of Stockton or Tees Valley Schoolwear. There may be a requirement to move between stores to cover personnel during holidays and sickness.

HOURS OF WORK AND PAY

We are looking for a variety of candidates from Full time to part time. The shops are open Monday to Saturday 0900 - 1700, so hours of work will be within this time.
Wages are based on a candidates capability, however they are likely to start an minimum wage for the duration of the probationary period (6 months).
