Part-time Retail Sales Associate - Bird Feeding Specialist
We are looking for an energetic person who has experience in retail, a positive attitude, and excellent customer service skills. Preference will be given to someone who is committed to the hobby of bird feeding and appreciates nature, but training will be provided with regard to backyard bird feeding, bird watching and product knowledge.

Hours of work are part-time and may include weekends, hours my increase with holiday season. Pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service in a low-pressure environment
• Receive shipments of stock as needed, carry heavy loads into the store, place stock in warehouse area
• Restock shelves and merchandise to increase sales
• Help meet sales targets
• Open and close the store as needed

Qualifications:

• Three years full-time retail experience
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds on a consistent basis while unloading shipments and assisting customers
• Excellent customer service skills, pleasant attitude
• Understanding of POS systems, cashier duties, computer proficiency
• Aptitude for merchandising and increasing sales performance
• Interest in being part of a small team
