YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience working in a retail setting (preferred)
  • A passion for office and art supplies
  • Available to work Saturdays (mandatory)

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information in a concise and well-organized manner
  • Adapts easily to change
  • Takes the initiative, is a self-starter
  • Is an excellent team player, working well with others
  • Enjoy learning new skills and abilities
Responsibilities

SOME OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Accurately and efficiently complete POS transactions
  • Receiving product and restocking shelves
  • Inventory Management – ex., Cycle counts, PM orders, price changes
  • Store opening & closing
  • Learn about existing and new products by researching and exploring their uses (especially the art supplies!)
  • Participate in merchandising and upholding brand standards
  • Participate in the maintenance and upkeep of the store; report any issues that may impact the customer experience
  • Promote Monk Office services, including promotions, commercial products, services, and the Think Monk Savings loyalty program
  • Consistently strive to deliver amazing customer experiences
  • Demonstrate Monk Office Core Values as a work life guiding principle with customers and co-workers
  • Show enthusiasm and a high interest for the job
  • Consistently meet Monk Office standards for dress code
  • Work closely and cooperatively with the store Leader, and offers feedback and suggestions to support store goals
