Description RESPONSIBILITIES: Opens and closes the store following department procedures. Counts cash register at beginning and end of day, completes cash handling reports and bank deposits. Processes and handles payments for merchandise via Point Of Sale Cash Register. Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering the telephone, taking phone orders, giving directions, handling complaints and requests and assisting the customer with the appropriate selection of merchandise. Maintains terminal and work area by dusting, sweeping and light cleaning. Stocks, organizes, and displays merchandise per managers direction. Accurately completes required receiving paperwork as needed. Performs related responsibilities as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent. At least three years of prior retail sales experience, including using a POS cash register, opening and closing stores, making end of day deposits, merchandising product and following a planogram/floor layout. Must be able to stand for 4-6 hours consecutively, lift up to 30 lbs of product, bend, stoop, reach and grasp. Must be able to work a flexible shift, including days, nights and weekends. Must be comfortable working independently with limited supervision and making decisions based on store policies and procedures.
