In this job, you'll be working directly with customers - in-person, via phone, and through e-mail - to meet their musical needs by: Selling - instruments, accessories, print music, etc. Renting - band, orchestra & other instruments, accessible to everyone! Enrolling - sign up new students for lessons at the Menchey School of Music! Other duties include: Troubleshooting customer issues and finding solutions Maintaining a clean and organized store Opening and closing the store according to policies Cash handling - daily balancing of cash drawer Training on instruments, new products, and sales techniques This is not a summer/seasonal position. Requirements Required Experience: HS Diploma or GED Ability to play a musical instrument General knowledge of musical instruments and written music Preferred Experience: Previous retail or sales experience Benefits of Employment: At Menchey Music Service, we prioritize the well-being of our team.
