Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our Ryan Premises Heritage Shop team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be the face of our store, ensuring that every customer has a memorable experience. Your passion for customer service and love for local will shine through as you assist visitors in finding the perfect gift to bring home.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous retail experience is preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
• Positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service
• Knowledge of local heritage and history is a plus
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Proficiency in English
• French or second language is a plus
  The Heritage Shop is a social enterprise run by the Historic Sites Association of NL. HSA is a local non-profit organization that helps make heritage happen by investing, along with Parks Canada and other partners, in nationally significant heritage projects that benefit local communities and the visitor’s experience. Since 1981, HSA has provided more than $3 million in financial support to Newfoundland’s National Historic Sites!
