Position: Sales Associate
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week), weekends required
Compensation: $18.00-$21.00 (per hour) depending on experience plus bonuses

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Sales Asscociate is responsible for helping with the day-to-day operations of the CTS Richmond retail location. The Sales Associate provides a memorable and exciting shopping experience for customers of all ages, and services a large customer base seeking regular skate sharpening and hockey equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

• Hockey background required (player, coach, fan)
• At minimum, completion of secondary school
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills:

• Knowledge and passion for ice hockey and/or lacrosse is an asset
• Experience and/or knowledge with skate sharpening is an asset
• Familiarity with point-of-sale system operations
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Email, Microsoft Word, and Excel)
• Ability to problem solve
• Excellent customer service
• Organized

• Provides excellent customer service in person and over the phone, including identifying appropriate customer needs
• Assist in skate sharpening for a large customer base
• Assists customers in Hockey equipment fitting
• Stocking and merchandising of inventory
• Shipping and Receiving
• Cash Handling
• Supports with team sales initiatives
• Other duties as required
