We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Matured Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to sell effectively while managing time efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
• Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is highly desirable (bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).
• Ability to sell effectively while demonstrating excellent time management skills.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory tasks.
• A friendly demeanour with a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries and orders.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer’s shopping experience and increase sales.
• Maintain a well-organised sales floor, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and that stock levels are adequate.
• Process transactions accurately using the point of sale system, including cash handling and basic maths skills.
• Provide information about promotions, sales, and product features to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies as needed.
