We are seeking a Part-time or Full-time Sales Associate to join our team at Beck Antiques and Jewellery. The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers in finding and purchasing unique and high-quality antique items, while maintaining a clean and organized sales floor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for antiques, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Along with antiques you will learn about coins, jewellery and gemstones, military memorabilia, and so much more!

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them in finding and purchasing antique items
• Educate customers on the history and uniqueness of each item
• Manage and maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Assist with inventory management and pricing
• Buy antiques, jewellery, and many other interesting items for stock
• Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with customers and team members
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the store manager

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred
• Passion for antiques and knowledge of antique items and history
• Openness to learning new skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions: This is a part-time/ full-time position that requires working on weekends, evenings, and holidays. The Sales Associate will work on the sales floor and may be required to lift and move heavy items.
