OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and the ability to engage with customers to enhance their shopping experience.
Duties Operate cash register
Answer phones / speak to customers that call in and give accurate information
Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
Provide advice about merchandise;
Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase
Prepare merchandise for purchase
Prepare sales, orders, custom orders and accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment
Maintain sales records for inventory control
Assist in display of merchandise
Receive shipments, and put away incoming stock
Package and take care of customer goods
Package and show customer their finished good
Customers as well as staff required to wear a mask. Social distancing is required, and monitored between staff and customers. Staff and Customers wear masks at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $15.80 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
