Seasons Home + Gift is a home & lifestyle store, specializing in on-trend seasonal decor as well as gourmet food. With something for all ages, it is a one stop shop when decorating, or looking for that perfect fun gift.
Flexible hours are available, however weekday, weekend and evening availability is a must as we are open 7 days a week, including all holidays. The majority of hours available will be afternoon/closing shifts and weekends. This position is available immediately and permanent. We are a small, but mighty team who love having fun and interacting with our customers + building friendships with them, creating new displays and unpacking new products.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to greeting and serving customers, helping them choose gifts and decor while providing exceptional customer service, unpacking orders, restocking shelves, and maintaining the shop’s cleanliness .
The position does require the ability to work both as a team, and independently in store as well as being able to interact with customers as though you are old friends, while multi tasking to complete tasks.
Prior retail experience is not necessary however more importantly is an outgoing positive personality with a willingness to be coached to ensure the customer experience that we are known for is provided to every customer that enters the shop. SUMMARY

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales in our store. Reporting to the Store Manager, your core skills in POS systems, cash handling, and effective communication will enable you to assist customers efficiently. Your ability to engage with customers, along with premium skills in merchandising and product demonstrations, will enhance the shopping experience. Additionally, your time management and organizational skills will support store operations, making you a vital part of our retail team dedicated to achieving sales goals and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in POS systems and cash handling
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in retail sales and basic math
  • Ability to manage time effectively and stay organized
  • Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus
  • Familiarity with technology sales and product demonstrations is advantageous
